In my practice, I work primarily with women who have experienced trauma at some point in their lives. Trauma may mean different things for different people. It can be a single incident (rape, loss of pregnancy,
physical assault) as well as a series of events or a particularly
difficult and painful period in somebody's life (abusive childhood,
domestic violence, infertility treatment, divorce etc.)

Magda says this about her work:
In
my clinical work of the last fifteen years in Poland, Canada, and
California, I have worked with traumatized women in incest survivor
groups, in an outpatient addiction clinic, in an internship at the
Process Therapy Institute, at the county jail, in a support group for
new mothers, and at a Women’s Crisis Support dealing with domestic
violence.
I
worked with these women toward rediscovering their strengths,
developing their sense of self, and their own sense of agency in their
lives. I bring to all my work respect, sensitivity, and an
understanding of cultural diversity.
